More Fun About Wellington

Just like any other larger city we have Parks and Recreation of Apartments, a vibrant school system, shops and restaurants, and an extensive equestrian community. Wellington hosts the Winter Equestrian Festival, the largest and longest-running or show in the world. But this is the only one we host. Wellington hosts multiple equestrian events, show jumping festivals, hunting, dresses, and even polo. Each year, Wellington hosts several high goal polo tournaments and we're home to the Home Beach Masters Series, a trio of unique events hosted at deer Ridge Farms, the heart of the equestrian sport in Wellington.

But that's not all, we have nearly 40 parks, recreational facilities, and community centers studded with dozens of sports fields and courts. Even though we're not on the beach, or just 1/2 an hour's drive to the Palm Beaches and Fort Lauderdale is less than an hour away.

Wellington is also home to the Wellington aquatics complex, a municipal Center open to the public and includes amenities for every age and ability. It offers an Olympic size swimming pool, lockers, concession stands, a waterpark, and a splash pad.

Schools

Residents of Wellington are part of the Palm Beach County school district and features seven elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools.

If beach home prices get too spendy, consider Wellington. You're just minutes from the beach and with condo prices starting less than $200,000, there's probably something for everyone in this neck of the woods.
