Schools
Lake Worth is part of the Palm Beach County school district and has four elementary schools, one middle school, and the Lake Worth community high school. There is one charter school called the Academy for Positive Learning and a campus of the Palm Beach State Colleges also located in unincorporated Lake Worth. It is the oldest community college in Florida founded back in 1933.

Lake Worth is located on the Intercoastal Waterway side of the ocean separated by the Gulf Stream and the peninsula out at Lake Worth Beach Park. It surrounded by West Palm Beach, Palm Springs, and Boynton Beach and has a very methodically master-planned city layout. The Lake Worth Golf Club is located on the waterside and Interstate 95 runs north and south through Lake Worth.
