Boynton Beach is also home to the Schoolhouse Children's Museum & Learning Center, a historical school building originally designed in 1913 replacing a one-room schoolhouse on the same site. Today, the school is designed and encourages families to learn about the history of Boynton Beach through exhibitions and programs. There are hands-on, interactive exhibits and historical presentations, and ideal destination on a rainy afternoon.
